Do you know of any anti-oxidant effect the liver significantly but do not stimulant any increase in bile production.
Milk Thisthle and Coffee both increase bile, so those two are out of the question.
I also can't take NAC.
Any anti-oxidants for the liver?

Try phyllanthus niruri, synonymous with p. amarus. Also
has potent antiviral properties. The South Americans have
long used it for kidney stones, where they call it chanca piedra.

A local herb company over here in Malaysia has just jumped
onto its antiviral activity against hepatitis B. Their product
is quite expensive though.

I've heard reports of Indian alcoholics here in Malaysia who
take it regularly but do not get cirrhosis despite drinking
tons of hard liquor over the years.

The ayurvedic herb picrorrhiza kurroa also has potent
liver protective properties. It is also advocated by LEF.
Picroliv was developed by Sabinsa.
