I think it would be useful to have a Mathematics sub-forum underneath Computing for discussion of mathematical constructs that may relate to the applied sciences in the future, such as Lisi's use of E sub 8 algebraic structures to formulate a G.U.T., along with discussion of pure mathematics.

This was discussed by the Recorders and was decided that a dedicated subforum is not necessary for the discussion of applied math. Unless there was renewed demand for an area specific to pure math, discussion can remain under Computer Science.
