I'm curious, how would one know if a package had been held at the US border? I'm assuming a letter would be sent out eventually, but I'm wondering how long a wait it'd be to know. I placed a priority mail order recently that would be crossing the border, and I'm getting a little antsy as both the expected delivery date and general delivery time from that location to others in my area passes me by.

And yes, I know I'm being overly paranoid. :)

It would all depend on the law and the interpretation of the individual who seized your mail. If you are importing a controlled substance, at worst, it could mean fines and jail time. At least, you will get some kind of warning letter. It's your gamble.

Peace.

Maybe we could make a list of which substances are risky to import, or link to it in that FAQ that may one day be finished.

Adam, you seem to be pretty familiar in this area. Do you have the link to things of this nature?
