Bit of a long shot here but.. my aunt's dog has protothecosis which is a chrolophyl-lacking algae that can establish a disseminated or systemic infection.  The prognosis is not great.  Beyond the standard course of medication (which she's on) I was wondering if there was a supplementation option that might improve the odds of eliminating of this infection.  I have googled up and down but pretty much all search results are about taking algae supplements vs supps to eliminate algae.
