Theanine is one of the few supplements that I actually benefit from and scientific research backs up its safety and efficacy. I have ADD and it works well in keeping me mindful and not lost in thought.
In terms of cost effectiveness, what would be the best way to dose in order to obtain the full effects the whole day? It has a half life of 2-4 hours so I was thinking of taking 200mg every 4 hours from morning until I go to bed. Sounds good?
Edit: forgot to mention I used to take it with caffeine but am unfortunately am unable to take caffeine anymore due to negative reactions. I'm hoping to retain the focus and mindfulness effects with Theanine
