buddy of mine is around 80 and has advanced rheumatoid arthritis, he's taking prednesone but has all the side effects (heart murmur, thinner skin, weak bones, liver problems)... my goal is to get him to a point where he can function on the least amount of prednisone possible, and to help combat the side effects so the prednisone doesnt kill him.

all advice is welcome.
thanks

boswellia serrata (boswellin proprietary blend) w/ at least 60% standardized boswellic acid 300mg x3 before meals
ground some celery seeds, boil and strain as tea 4-6 cups/day
works well for my parents.

what about msm, sam-e?

Where can you purchase lyprinol? Relentless Improvement only has the more popular AOR products.

rheumatoid arthritis is one of the things Gerovital H3 is supposed to help. Being 80 yrs old is another thing they say it helps with too.

I've just taken my fourth pill. I'm going to report my initial impression later today.

I tried it and didn't notice special effects. Mussel oil maybe has special effects that justify its price, I dont know for sure. If you have tried fish oil and still need more maybe its worth a shot. I am using fish oil 3.9 grams EPA/DHA a day and rarely feel my arthritis.
