I've been taking two tables a day of the supplement attached to this post.  My diet is almost 100% vegan with very minimal oils and not many nuts.

I had my Omega 3/6 tested and it still shows I need more Omega 3. In particular the AA/EPA ration is not good at all:

  • Omega-3 Index (EPA+DHA) - 7% < desirable > 8%
  • Omega-6 to Omega-3 Ratio 5:1 < desirable < 3
  • AA/EPA Ratio: 17 <<<< desirable < 3

Can anyone tell me, is it possible to take too much Omega 3 and what might be the problems if I do take too much?  Has anyone else had similar tests and if so what results did they get?
