Giving this a go.
But I have no idea how to dose, or whether to use permanently or temporarily.
Anyone?
Thanks.

You should really change your online-name to 'hesitating'. The answer to this question is of course always by 'experimenting', by starting with lowest possible doses (even if that means taking only parts of a capsule at first) and gradually increasing dose over weeks, months or years, while monitoring symptoms and lab-works. Both permanently or temporarily.

This really was a lark-tried 30mg, didn't really feel anything. Haven't read enough compelling accounts to really go after this so just leaving it in the cabinet for now.

Pregnenolone's effects and conversions are dose-dependent. Lower doses activate glutamate receptors while higher 100mg+ dosages inhibit glutamate receptors.
Lower dosages have neurosteroid effects while 100-300mg seems to convert mostly to progesterone.

Very interesting. Can you link a source so I can read up on that?

I tested my levels, found them low, and supplemented up until I hit the normal range.
