Link: Semapedia
I like the concept but having to traverse the xyz planes to find the semapedia tags doesn't seem very efficient. Perhaps linking this into a GPS coordinate system or Google maps makes more sense.

Personally, I think it's a bit superfluous.
1. The whole project is inherently inconsistent. Not all Wikipedia entries are about something that can, even in principle, receive a Semacode tag, such as, say, 'percolation theory.'
2. The tags are ugly and also very vulnerable.
3. With the appropriate devices, one can look up a Wikipedia entry anyway from anywhere Semacode taggers are likely willing to go to put up Semacode tags.
This is only one null vote, though.

The concept I think is going to be very important... rather than a physical tag however, I believe that objects with Wiki entries will broadcast a signal or have an RFID type of tag which can be read without having to be scanned or clicked.

Well, this person will answer with guns drawn any attempt to RFID me.
Wiki is devolving into irrelevance as wikispam is swamping the system, and entryist factions intent on revising consensus reality through wikiediting destroy it as a reliable source of knowledge beyond purely technical, non-political topics.
Speaking of which, given the debt we all owe Neal Stephenson and his novels for spreading transhumanist memes, I'd appreciate some help with the Quicksilver Metaweb, a wikipedia for annotating all things Stephensonian: http://www.metaweb.c...title=Main_Page
It is currently suffering from an onslaught of wikispam and could use some help from people experienced in managing wikis, particularly in implementing anti-wikispam measures that do not require lots of administration.
