"We also validated that the prodrug SSK1 was specifically cleaved to release cytotoxic gemcitabine in senescent cells but not in non-senescent cells (Fig. 1c; Supplementary information, Fig. S1d). These results suggested that SSK1 was toxic to senescent cells and non-toxic to non-senescent cells."


SSK1 would not be hard to make. Anyone want to try?
