Colbert is about the funniest show on tv right now, imo.

Oh, and elijah, he is imitating people like O'Reilly and playing a character. (the character being an uninformed, ultra-conservative, windbag of a person) He doesn't actually believe 99% of the stuff he says on that show. It is called parody.

If Colbert seriously believed in God, he would've never had Dawkins on his show to help him sell his book.

Colbert actually believes in God, he just believes that God doesn't require censorship in order to be understood.

censorship is when you prohibiting all mention of a persons name and ideas. This doesn't mean you got to help people obtain media coverage so they can sell books.

From the Onion, "New Abortion Bill to Require Fetal Consent":

(all of the new Onion videos are hilarious, and although most don't have to do with religion, I would recommend watching through some of them)

Yeah LOL, i watched quite a few of them. The sarcastic humour of the Onion is really quite remarkable. they have got it down to such a fine art form.

I love the clip about the frustration at how long it is taking them to reconstruct the 9/11 building.... brilliant comedy.

Mind Control Made Easy

This one a friend sent me earlier today, I think it is worth the watch despite its length... If you are short on time the most relevant stuff starts at about 9:45

Obviously you aren't yet familiar with the work of the Onion. Here, check out my favourite Onion story ever and see if that helps you out...

If I ever start a cult (it's a possibility), i think I will play that music on loop through loud speakers 24 hours a day. No one could ever resist my suggestions when under the power of that music!

That video makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Anyone starting a cult that I can join up with, or should I go ahead and take the lead?

Well we could start an immortality Cult. We have a "large goal", we have an "us" we have a "them", we have a selection of charismatic leaders (we will have to cull them down to one of course), and I feel guilty for not doing more and for not being the most calorically restricted and healthy and vitamined i could be....

Oh, and if you don't leave your friends and family immediately, if they don't come with you, they'll just die. So it amounts to the same thing in the end.

I really liked that. Never before has Benny Hinn really made sense. Now he does.

Jesus goes to a porn convention:

"A guy outside had a sign that said Jesus is coming. Well, we wanna see that..."

That was a cool clip. I don't think that it was done by a Christian though because it was fairly stylish and as we all know, Christians don't have any style.

Anyhow......the clip was dumbed down so much that it's gotta be done by an aetheist having a go at how stupid some christians can be when argueing for creationism.

Anyhow.....I somehow lost this thread. It's gotta be one of my favourites.

Whoops! Bump

Yep, more atheist propaganda preying on our weakness to stereotype others. For a more educated video on creation, watch Who Invented Life?, at http://www.beyondtod...ProgramID=bt016.
