I have been reading through some of the information on this forum for a few months now. There is a new resveratrol nutraceutical on the market manufactured by Eniva. The product has a high price but Eniva has always been an innovator in product safety and efficacy.

Maybe it can be added to the price list for the sake of comparision.

You can get full info at Resvante.com but the basics are:

200 mg trans-resveratrol 99% pure
$89.95/25 servings
"Activated" Liquid formula - Highly bio-available - .001 micron particle size
Red Wine Extract synergistic complex - 1000 mg per serving
Metabolic channeling to prolong absorption time
Glass packed - Nitrogen flushed
Resveratrol sourced from french wine country
Exhaustive safety testing

Thanks and I look forward to seeing the feedback.

I will use these COA's, and add Biotivia to the list before I leave to NY for Christmas.
(Yes I have to be nuts to go freeze up north and leave Miami, but ... alas, my wife has already promised her family we would visit.)

Many thanks TheHuge for posting the COA's for the members.

Can you just cut out the last posts instead?

I think I screwed up on this one, but would like to keep the Price Watch on the main resveratrol forum where it can be seen without registration. Placing it in that forum will limit it Maxwatt. This used to be a pinned topic here. I am not sure what changed.

For now, I will limit my posts, and simply notify folks on updates for this thread from now on.

I'm looking to buy the best value resveratrol product. There are so many to choose and I don't know where to start. Is there an updated list anywhere (the one of the front page is from 2007)? Thanks.

The files are updated.

As of matter of fact, let me ask the admins to change the links to these new ones:

http://ResveratrolPr...trol-Prices.xls

And

http://ResveratrolPr...trol-Prices.htm

Thanks

Thanks, I am not sure if I should add emodin info, as very few have this.

A

Isn't there an area on your price sheet where you have a column that says 'emodin tested' and then below a box where you type in yes or no? Is there room to list the specific Emodin content of any of the products that have been tested?

I will see if I can add it,
however only 1 or 2 maybe 3 companies have reported total emodin percentage in the products.

The COA's shown should have emodin content, if they don't then the company did not test for it.
I only know of one company that does not have a public COA, but did report emodin to a member on this board.

Cheers

There's been a lot of discussion of COAs lately. I've noticed at least one COA that was just an identity test, nothing more. That is hardly enough to qualify as a COA if you ask me. I want to know about heavy metals, bacteria, and other bad actors. If all that is missing, what's the point? I think that testing for typical harmful contaminants should be a minimum qualification for a COA. The FDA already requires identity testing, so that is theoretically in the bag. It's the purity test that we have to trust the vendors to get right.

Great pricelist, thanks for the effort Anthony. Looks good, probably took alot of your time to compile it.

I would also ask "How is it purified" or "How is it extracted" They most likely have to use solvents... Solvents are usually found in the final product in various levels depending on how good the drying was. Typically this will not affect the purity test by HPLC...
OVI or Organic Volatile Impurities are definitely worth checking into and asking the vendor. There are some really nasty solvents that can be used and even tho it maybe at very low levels it might be best to buy from another vendor that uses a different extraction method...

Heavy metals??? Unless they use heavy metals during the extraction this will probably very low or not detected... if resveratol is grown on bad soil (contains heavy metals) then maybe worth checking...

I have switched over to also exclusively taking POLYDATIN (resveratrol pro-drug, this molecule gets converted to resveratrol in our bodies). ImmInst Forum link

Hi TheHuge,

the holidays have been rough, and year end company processes do take quite a bit of my time.
I will be adding it in, I think I can do it today, but I need to finish a few things that do take priority.

Thanks

Row 29 is now 31,49€
I think rows 35 and 38 to 40 have lower prices now

Is it possible do add some kind of info regarding shipping costs on the spreadsheet?

Thanks

Thanks Hedgehog_info,

We use AACL of Illinois, (heck their phone number is on the COA)... and here it is again (217)-352-6060

Give them a call to see if they will give you the methods they use for testing Hedge.
In all honesty, we chose them to test the resveratrol from a group of labs as they have had some history with other large supplement makers and are trusted by some folks here.

I am glad Hedgehog_info is a rep of a GMP biotech lab, that does these things for supplement makers. He has alot of good information and could probably do a good deal of business with concerned people that question their supplements. We, as a company, have to rely on independent labs with a good history to do things the right way to keep our labels in compliance with the FDA. If we couldn't trust the independent lab, that has a good history with other large supplement manufacturers, and who has helped us weed out bad suppliers... who would we turn to then? The marketing labs like consumer labs? Of course not, they outsource their testing to other people... How about someone in a small startup lab? No we wouldn't use them either. We would again, investigate those who have been around for a bit, are being used by other supplement makers, have a good track record and is looked upon favorably by people.

I think most companies would do the same.

A

They are terrific (AAC Labs) also, there is a great independent lab in KY called Venture Laboratories too. Also, if you are looking into particle testing, you could check out Particle Tech. Labs in IL.
