Do you have scoliosis or misaligned hips? Because, it looks like you're leaning to your right in both of your sets of pictures. If you get headaches a lot the probability is high. Also, your results are inspiring.

Very observant. I tore my meniscus about a year ago and could not fully straighten my right knee. As a result, a had to stand with all my weight on my left. I will post some updated pics in the next few weeks and you will see the difference. Thanks for the post.

I find it very impressive that you're able to maintain a body weight of 168 at 1850 calories/day. I maintain that body weight, at 3" shorter than you, one year younger, a little more muscle for my frame, and about the same body fat, at a strictly controlled 2600 calories/day, which is consistent with the Harris-Benedict equation. If I ate 1850 calories/day, and did the kinds of physical activity you do, I'd probably weigh under 140.

Thanks for the post. I think there are so many variables to a successful CRON regime, its difficult for me to say how any one thing effects the way the whole system runs. Then when we are talking about different body types, metabolisms, fat percentages, intestinal health, types of foods eaten, etc..., things get even more uncertain.

All I can say is that I believe I have found the formula that works for me and may work for you too. The only way to really know for sure is to strictly adhere to all components for a few MONTHS (not days or weeks) and see.

I don't think you are far off tho. HB is a good jumping off point I suppose but it does not speak to the c/p/f ratio. Somewhere close to 40/30/30 will maximize efficiency. The goal is to eat it just enough to maintain without any extra.

You may just have a lot more muscle mass to maintain and need the extra calories tho. Even tho you are shorter, it does not take long to build bulk with heavy weights. Mass goes into not only muscle but bone, ligament and soft tissue as well.

I don't lift weights at all. The muscles I have come from push ups, pull ups and physical sports/activities mostly. You can get much definition just by thinning the skin. I may not be as strong as I look.;-)

I amazed at your transformation. You didn't even look like you had the potential to be as defined as you are now. It gives me hope that at 37 I can get back to how I used to look and lose the love handles I've developed that I never had before. I'm about 25 pounds over the weight I would like to be at, and I still have some decent definition. So, I imagine that if I lose this weight through diet and some CR and working out again, I will see drastic improvementst in my body composition and appearance. The only obstacles are some medications that I am on and the extensive injuries that have resulted in some muscle atrophy.
