I just started college (don't worry, I'm not a 17 year old kid...I'm 25) and my utter lack of attention span is going to be a problem. I have a hard time focusing during lectures, and an even harder time focusing while studying. I know some people take nootropics specifically for big study binges, but I want one (or more) I can use 5 times a week for helping me focus during lectures. Not just once in awhile for studying. A bonus if it helps memory...my memory retrieval is generally good (if I can focus long enough to store the memory at all) but I wouldn't mind a boost!
Supplements I am curious about:
Piracetam
Vinpocetine
Huperzine-A
PEA
Pyritinol
(and anything else anyone might suggest)
I am actually taking some vinpocetine and huperzine in the form of Natrol Memory Complex, and I THINK it might actually be working for my memory. I got 100% on my first exam! But I'm scared that it isn't safe to take huperzine daily, as all the research I have done points to it being less safe used daily. Plus, my mind still floats away during my classes.
