I'm sorry I didn't try Light therapy before taking noopept. I must be stupid. I'm really kicking myself for that one. hahaha. This was somewhat amusing to read.
This post was my personal subjective effects of using Noopept. I wasn't that serious about it and would have had better results with a scale and not taking other supplements. Does this mean you have to be so Dramatic with your Big Red Letters. Warning Warning do not read this thread or your life will be in danger. Did you tell the other hundreds of people that dosed noopept without a scale that they should be in the asylum. Look at the chemical composition. Does this look like something that would kill you if dosing without a scale. This isn't 2ct-7 we are talking about.

I'm thinking of ordering it next week from CH, is shipping to Europe fine?
Is there anything else I should get besides the scale to measure it? perhaps fish oil?
thanks in advance!
I smoke a lot and don't do much exercise, my weight is good for my height, which is about 60kg - 1.72m in european measurements.
I drink mostly socially.

That will be hard I think, I get aggressive out of smokes, the big question is would a nootropic help on that subject aswell on quitting?
I am not sure of noopept, but when taking Uridine it was easy to quit (cravings just dissapeared), whilst with methylene blue I got serious headaches after first cigarette even if it was in the evening, probably due to its MAOI effects, but cravings was also down. Probably you should try welbutrin, I think it is designed for this purpose..

I can't imagine drinking my coffee without smoking, or drinking a glass of scotch without the smoke lol

how much did you used to smoke? I'm smoking around a pack and a half per day, sometimes more if I go out and drink.

ok this is kinda OT, in fact I never have problems cutting on it, just every day move the time mark of first cigarette.. its that simply. I usually notice that when smoking first one, you actually get more craving for else, its that redosing nature of nicotine (which is in fact similar to some stims). If you manage to smoke your first one sometime after dark in the evening it will be easy to stay here and slowly reduce overall intake.

Anyone expereinced depression while ceasing noopept use after a few weeks on? Ive taken pehnibut (1-2 grams once a week this past month - total 6-7 grams max) and am also taking fish oil (10 grams a day). I dont know which of these is causing the severe depression.
I would recommend tapering off and stopping the phenibut. I've only heard bad things about long-term use with it.
That seems like a lot of fish oil. Try cutting it down to 4-6 grams a day. I have heard that when you go above that amount you risk having elevated liver enzymes.

What does 5 mg do for you (consistently)? How many times a day might you take it?anyone find 5 mg effective? I find 10 mg does nothing and 20+ gives me a brain fog.

Personally, 10-20mg 3-4x daily seems like it helps me be less of a loser, but it's hard to say for sure. Essentially I think it helps me with "mental resolve", for which you need some personal challenges in the first place. Again, I can't be sure though.did'nt try it yet , might try it tommorow

Music also sounds much more amazing than normal, like when I take aniracetam. This is coming from someone who tried noopept many times and finally resolved to the fact it was useless for me, but I decided why not try it at 50mg today.. spur of the moment thing. The only things I took were piracetam and noopept, no caffiene or anything else. So, possibly it does work for me, maybe I just need higher doses since I'm tapering off benzos OR maybe it reenergized my brain after all the tapering(slight benzo w/d which manifests as fatigue and ... well every negative thing you can think of at some point...lol). Piracetam seemed to make my brain much more normal too, so maybe noopept has an even stronger effect on reversing the effects of tapering down my dose of benzodiazepines... I'm not really sure at all hahah
