Just recently some of Vitacost's omega-3 products went on sale and if you buy 25$ or more of their store brand you get free shipping. In addition, I have a 10$ coupon for their store (and can send more to anyone who wants them).
Altogether I can get 22 bottles (buy 11, get 11 free) of Omega-3 capsules (http://www.vitacost....ga-3-500-mg-dha) for $27.39, and with my coupon that is $17.39 (with free shipping!) for what equates to 500 grams of DHA and 100 grams of EPA. But there you might see my problem, if it really is a problem.
The caps are marketed as prenatal omega-3 capsules, and thus their DHA/EPA ratio is 5 to 1. Are they still worth buying or should I wait for something with a more normal ratio to come on sale? An example of what I would wait for to go on sale is this one: http://www.vitacost....ng-300-softgels
(Also in case anyone decides to buy them, since it is a pretty good deal, you can also get two free samples off this page: http://www.vitacost.com/freesamples. Even though they're not ~amazing~ they can be nice.)
