What is the theory i guess you could say,on how anti-depressants work to restore normal levels of serotonin and or dopamine?I understand how it kind of recycles it so that you feel better, but does being on it a long time make your brain kinda rewire it self to make its own like before?

Depends on the person. It can take a long time for autoreceptors to rebalance. There are supplements that assist the process, too.
