My general rule of thumb is the majority of problems you're facing will be MUCH better once you focus on healing the gut - Candida, SIBO, H. Pylori over growth etc..Simply eliminating foods we have sensitivities too - gluten, dairy, eggs, soy, corn (it depends on YOU but for most of us traditional dairy and gluten are a problem) is another amazing "biohack".

I spent years focusing on my gut from every conceivable angle as well as the elimination diets that you mention with zero effects. Not all skin problems have their etiology in the gut, although this hypothesis is undoubtedly very popular lately.

I said the same in my earlier post - although gut health has done a lot to improve my health and I can see some areas it's improved my skin there are other parts (lower legs/feet) that still seem very off.  Been like this for a long time - I haven't experimented with topicals enough.

Also - I can say that a lot of the advice I read online in forums etc. about healing the gut is IMO pretty far off the mark. Ex - Zero carb/Keto diets can do more harm than good and eventually lead to food allergies.

It's a good area to experiment in - nothing wrong with cleaning up your diet and improving your digestion.

I've also tried all the supps touted for skin health without noticing anything. The only thing that ever noticeably improved my skin, and unintentionally at that, was monolaurin. My skin just looked and felt healthier. I think I'm going to start taking it again soon for that reason.

I know you will probably not see this, but where did you get the monolaurin? And was it applied topically, or internally? At what dosage? Thanks!
