So I've noticed that I"m more likely to fast when I'm in very high-dopamine environments.
There are two such environments: video game worlds and novel environments.
E.g. I went to NYC for the first time in my life over break and noticed that while I explored NYC, it was really easy for me to go without eating for hours on end (while *also* taking a break from my ADD meds) due to the novelty of the environment and also the general expensiveness of NYC food (which also helped me go for longer without food).
What are your strategies? Bear in mind that I have ADD so I have the self-control of a hermit crab
