Smoked piracetam in a rolled cigarette

Erdosain's Photo Erdosain 17 Mar 2018

SWIM is going to buy piracetam after seeing great reviews to bring the "magic" back and help neurotransmitters healing.

But he is wondering if he buy Piracetam Complex is would do same effects as Pure and only Piracetam when smoking/vaping it? Should SWIM try it or stuck with normal piracetam? Thanks.

For Gods sake, dont smoke Piracetam pills !

Smoking the sole piracetam powder is questionable enough, but somking the fillers ála titandioxide, talcum and so on.. well its above of having fun & making mischief.

Its no fun to get irreversible lung damage and e.g. beeing not able to work anymore.

1. Yes: avoid the pills

2. No: Have you read the references you posted? Completely different hazardous scenario.

3. But yes, basically binders and other additives can be an issue. Binders in Ritalin tabs will destroy your lungs, for example, but if you shoot, not if you smoke it. In the case of Piracetam tabs I'd be a little bit more concerned about the fact that Magnesium Stearate will release toxic fumes if incinerated. I have no idea how much of such fumes might be dangerous and probably vaping is better, but still: so many non-researched  chemical reactions...

Piracetam is known to suppress REM sleep and increase deep sleep, the reason that people so often experience lucid dreams and better recall after piracetam consumption is due to a rebound effect after the piracetam wears off, much like melatonin. Piracetam also, at least for me, is a wonderful cure for restless leg syndrome, and it also slows down heart rhythm, increases pulse intensity and has shown some promise albeit mostly anecdotal for ameliorating some sleep apnea. The stimulation of alpha waves also always you to visualize things much more easily, facilitating hypnagogia and sleep onset. This should all induce deeper and less active sleep.

How effective is this with RLS? What about phenylpiracetam? What sort of dose would you suggest for the treatment of rls?
