I'm looking for a bio-available multivitamin/mineral/b-complex formula and an Omega-3 capsule.
I'm not looking for anything too fancy, but it should be a good value for money supplement.

I'm just looking for a stable baseline, before I start supplementing with other Nootropics and anti-oxidants.

I lead an active lifestyle and train Cardio/strength 5 days a week.I am 28 years old if that helps.Iv'e read that some people get dizzy or light headed from using certain multi-vitamins.So I would want to avoid multivitamins that have those ingredient's in high doses.

These are some of the options I am interested in for a multivitamin:

Garden of Life, Raw One, Once Daily RAW Multi-Vitamin for Men, UltraZorbe Veggie Caps

Now Foods, Adam Superior Men's Multi, Veg Caps

Source Naturals, Life Force Multiple, No Iron

Nature's Way, Alive! Once Daily, Men's Ultra Potency Multi-Vitamin & Whole Food Energizer

Life Extension, Two-Per-Day Tablets.

Omega 3:

http://www.iherb.com...00-Softgels/323 (for general health)

http://www.iherb.com...0-Softgels/1699(or ,this one, with high Epa to help with depression and mood)

If any of you have any consumer lab reports regarding which of these products are the best among the other's please let me know.

If you have any other suggestions, please comment.Sorry if this topic has been beaten to death.I have been taking Costco multivitamins and Omegas for a long time, and need anything better.Thanks.

Personally, I use Source Naturals Life Force without iron and it's a good multi. You can't do wrong with it. I have no experience with the other products, but I wouldn't necessarily use NOW Adams as it contains Saw Palmetto which will reduce your DHT levels by inhibiting 5-alpha reductase. Unless you are balding or you have other conditions that benefit from lowered DHT levels, I wouldn't mess with my hormones. Life Extension products are usually good quality, too, but quite pricey.

I am pretty sloppy with my intake. There are days where I totally forget to take it, but usually I take 2 - 4 pills per day.

I bought my fish oil after reading test results here. Didn't want to pay for consumer lab.

Ok,I see.THanks for the consumer report.

Do you know if there is a difference between the capsules and tablets? They are significantly different in price, but seem to be the same thing.

I just realised that the Source Naturals contains NAC,something I'm not too sure I should be taking everyday(loads of amalgum fillings). Also,I am on imipramine(Tca),and Source naturals contains Ginko Biloba, which appears to be a mild MAOI inhibitor from what Iv'e read on this forum.
Can you suggest another multivitamin without Ginko, and maby without Nac too?

AOR Multi Basics 3 (2 per day instead of the 3, also saves some money)
Life Extension Omega 3 (the enteric coated one)

Just a little review on the Source Naturals Multi for all those interested. Source Natural's Life Force is interesting. It feels as if I am almost hyper-manic on it,without the negative side-effects of acting or being inappropriate.I am a little more social. But its a strange feeling,

At all times I feel aware that I am on something, kind of like I am high on a drug.It feels like I am in a zone.Energy levels are definitely up.But,I think I was a little harder to sleep properly for the 2 days I have been on it.I feel almost on edge, but not quite, almost like I am wired or more alert.Today is day 3.

On the first day I took 2 tablets at 2 separate times, which might not have been a good idea,I couldn't sleep till late.
The next day I took one and was still able to function normally, even though I didn't have much sleep.Felt a little like a machine.I was not tired at all for my daily cardio/conditioning training.

That was after taking one tablet on the second day.I plan to only take one tablet per day.Today is day 3.
These tablets have a very noticeably effect on me. Im not too sure how healthy this reaction is long-term.

I have never had this type of effect from a multi or Vita-complex before, nor was I expecting it.
I took this multi in combination with 1000mg fish oil and my 100mg of imipramine.

I had the very same feeling when I took this multi after a longer pause of several weeks. Unfortunately this feeling subsided after a couple of days. Maybe you are more lucky.
