Greetings,

In the past I have tried 95% of coffee on the supermarket's shelfs (in most of the supermarkets where I live),
It also includes fake marketing coffee such as lava coffee which says its strength 6. <- waste of time and money

Lavazza:
This is the BEST coffee by far, it will give you a boost that is not placebo and will really waken you up, Lavazza is the best coffee by far and will stick with Lavazza coffee for the rest of my life.

Lavazza coffee = winner.

Example, I could drink 7 cups of other types of coffee and get no effect,

I drink one cup of Lavazza and it BEATS every other brand, the other thing is lets say I drank another brand of coffee (7 cups). one cup of Lavazza's coffee would wake me up even more without side effects, etc.

Lavazza coffee = best!
Lavazza coffee for life!

Tim is not italian, too :)
PREMESSA (premise):
I assume Tim is sufficiently acknowledged to distinguish how crucial coffee preparation is in influencing its taste and strength. Consequently, I am also assuming that he is referring only and exclusively to espresso coffees, which is by far the best way of extracting taste and caffeine from the roasted bean ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Espresso ).

italian here (currently living in Spain), btw. Lavazza is just one among the many brands you can buy in italian retail shops. Accordingly to my taste and some very qualified review I can link is not considered among the best ones, though: too many impurities and questionable grain. But this should not bother the nootropic user, as I can assure you that taste and strength do not necessarily correlate, coming to coffee. Just be advised to employ a strong blend for moka.
Being myself a coffee-lover, I experimented each national and local brand and from my standpointApparently, best commercial national Espresso comes from Illy.

That being said, I don't have any formal knowledge of undrinkable soluble coffees I frequently find in UK shops. I restrain my judgment under the mark "abominable" for them.
