I was wondering whether there are any supplements with long lasting effects even when you stop taking them. For example, I once read that some guy used piracetam daily for a year and then stop taking it and still felt smarter than at the beginning. Or, e.g. ibogaine (which is not available as a supplement, though) may act as antiaddictive drug with single dose for months (or some people use low dose but take it for a while, some also repeat dosing every few months ...). So, has anybody experienced anything like that with supplements, drugs and similar? I mean beneficial effects, but you may post about unpleasant ones too.
