I'm mainly looking for B-1, B-3, B-5, B-6, and B-12. If I can get all these in one B vitamin complex type of product that would be great so I won't have to swallow 5 B vitamin pills a day! LOL. Regarding B-3 (which is Niacin), most companies tend to use cheap version derivatives of it like niacinamide. I want the high quality niacin. I think the high quality niacin is derived from nicotinic acid or inositol hexanicotinate. Not many companies have this as their B-3 derivative. I think nicotinic acid can cause flushing of the skin and the inositol hexanicotinate is flush-free but the latter is the "real" niacin (vitamin B-3). Anyone here know much about this?

This may be relevant to your interests. It's not ideal but it fits your criteria and also has the all important methylcobalamin form of B12, a lots of it. It also comes with several co-factors for the B vitamins which increase their bio-availability and potency, as I understand it:

A while back I found a specially formulated B-complex which looked excellent, but was very expensive. I found it on an indie brainhealth/nootropics site which I actually arrived at off a link from this forum, but now I can't find it :(. If anyone can find something better I'd also love to know about it.

already found one at: http://www.wonderlabs.com (good prices too!)

I prefer the single type of b-vitamins rather than a multi/complex type. I'm sure the multi/complex type would be cheaper than buying single vitamin supplements.

I would suggest to you that that supplement at wonderlabs is in fact a fairly average B-complex and; in the supplement game, average = bad. Most of the B-vitamins in that supplement are in a form not easily absorbed by your body and not in great enough quantities anyway. It also contains niacinamide which is outright bad for you (I think). If that's your price margain I'd suggest switching to the one I linked above; otherwise, go for this:

It's the one I was looking for originally. Super expensive though, $31 for a 1 month supply basically. The brand is AOR though, google that you can probably get it slightly cheaper elsewhere if you're interested.

wonderlabs has 3 types of niacine. I bought the real one (nicotinic acid). They also have sublingual B12. The product on the link you gave me seems like a good product but expensive. Maybe I'll try it next time.
