Hey,

I'm just wondering - do you know if it's possible to get factors like VO2max, relative Type I/IIa/IIx fiber ratio, and other exercise-related physiological parameters tested anywhere?

You can consult a local college or university - if you're lucky you can get tested as part of a study. There are also ways to estimate VO2 max based on Heart rate max and min, or by timed running. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/VO2_max
Muscle fiber testing is really invasive and the ratios vary a lot depending on training and muscle location. I've read some Andrew Coggan - a prominent exercise physiologist - and I don't think that even he has not had his muscle fiber tested. In one article he inferred it from power tests.
