medicinal kerosene to treat various diseases?

eon's Photo eon 11 Nov 2013

is there such a thing as "human grade" kerosene? I researched and found that kerosene had been used medicinally to treat various diseases including cancer way back in the old days.

I don't think so. In the old days, a lot of crazy shit was tried that didn't work....

Like cocaine in coke cola...

Or electroshock.
Or dosing with Mercury.
Or snuff/cocaine for pretty much every single ailment in the books.

Ahh how I'd love to visit the old days, roam the streets, buy a bottle of coke or two...

Yeah, seriously dont drink kerosene no matter how pure it is, best case you get lung damage, skin contact dermatitus and the skin in your throat starts to peel off, causing bleeding and severe bleeding of the intestines.

Worst case you get all of that plus liver failure plus whatever the impurities that they also have in the kerosene thrown in too, plus brain damage and eventually death, a very painful death.

Kerosene isnt purer, isnt safer, and isnt better than drinking petrol or diesel.

Dont fuck with this idea, try others.

well maybe the kerosene back in the old days isn't what it is now. You seen porn back in the old days is not the same as these days. The stuff they eat these days...

The coca cola these days have different ingredients than back in the old days, which had cocaine (from coca leaf) and caffeine (from kola nut).

Another medicinal uses was turpentine. It was used in Honda motorcycles after WW2 since gasoline was almost unavailable. Why did they stopped using it?

"Turpentine was a common medicine among seamen during the Age of Discovery, and one of several products carried aboard Ferdinand Magellan's fleet in his first circumnavigation of the globe."

'' It is extremely important to use kerosene which has been distilled at
temperatures between 100-150' C. At a high temperature of distillation the
healing elements are evaporated from this mixture of hydrocarbons; the
rest could be harmful to the blood. It is best to use kerosene imported from
Poland,as it has these boiling properties. ''

there was a story I came across of a Chinese man who drank gasoline for 40 years. I didn't read too much into it but when I have time to do so it should be interesting. I think cocaine is made with kerosene among other chemicals as well. So I guess the difference is that it is smoked and or used intravenously, not swallowed so nothing passes through the liver. Plus since it is expensive no one ends up using too much of the kerosene in the coke.

tham, it's true formulations vary in different countries and different times. I have no clue how it was back then. The coca cola then had completely different formula than the coca cola now.

Eon, that Chinese guy either didn't drink gasoline or it wasn't like modern gasoline. Modern gasoline contains antiknock compounds that are toxic as hell. Don't even THINK about drinking it.

Kerosene might be a contaminant in coke and other drugs, but it would be at a fairly low level due to its volatility, among other things. Most coke is the crystalline hydrochloride. It doesn't matter how you ingest a substance, it's going to go through the liver eventually.
