Hello,

I had very bad experiences with Phenibut at even relatively low doses. I feel intoxicated, depressed and zombie like, the day after. Now i have already ordered Picamilon and as i understand it, it has similar effects. Then there is L-Theanine and GABA as well. GABA can't cross the blood brain barrier, so it's probably less side effects, but really whats the difference between these four? Shouldn't i expect the similar side effects with all four?

Like you said, gaba does not cross the bbb, so if you want to affect your brain it's out.
Phenibut as far as I know is, depending on dose, a strong gaba agonist meaning it will fuck with your gaba system (reducing receptors, decreasing the effect of any substance including self produced gaba in the brain).
Picamilon should have the same negative effects phenibut has, since it delivers gaba through the bbb, again resulting the receptors to decrease because the brain did not want that gaba there.
theanin, as far as I know does not do this. it does increase gaba amongst other things, but it makes the brain increase gaba production, which might be the important difference resulting in no receptor reduction or less reduction depending on dosage. It's not clear if this is the case I guess, but my experience with it clearly shows that I have no problems to stop taking it, meaning my gaba system is not downregulating.
In any case theanine is the least problem causing drug if you want to get effects of increased gaba in your brain.

Thank you very much, I'm still going to test Picamilon and will report back, but i will probably use with L-theanine in the end.

Update: I have now tested Picamilon and i have found out that it docks on GABA A receptors and Phenibut on GABA B. Anyway i get similar side effects indeed. I'm just not a Gaba kind of guy, LOL. I will not test the other stuff, since i' don't need it. I'm taking enough already and i made great progress this week of testing. I have also found out, that DMAE sucks, Pyritinol help with my joint pain and Aniracetam is just the best supplement ever. I also found out that Alpha-GPC is increasing GABA production in rats' brains and i might test this in the future and report back here, might be not that bad, considering i'm a GABA sensitive guy.
