9-me-BC Regeneration of dopaminergic neurons?

Hmm.. that's strange. I didn't feel any stimulation when I took it. No physical or mental feeling at all, as I hadn't taken anything. It felt like I was naturally able to make the changes I had been struggling to make for so long. Some behavioral stuff that I was able to change went back as far as I can remember all the way to my childhood. And these changes seem to be permanent. I haven't taken a single dose for over 2 months now and I've kept almost all advancements I managed to make during the trial..
No other nootropic has ever given me so profound effects. It's like I'm operating from a new baseline. I honestly didn't think that something like this was possible from a noot.

i dont understand. so you didnt really feel it, but then you say it changed you dramatically....

I didn’t feel anything from taking it. No stimulation or relaxation. Nothing I could notice at least.
Also it didn’t change me by itself. I was consciously trying to change these behavioral patterns when I started the trial. And somehow this helped me push through.
It all felt very natural, like it was just me. Not once during my trial I felt like I had ingested something.
That’s what I meant. ![]()

All I know is that from the first dose of 9-mbc 3.5 months ago I’ve been completely sober. Considering that I’ve been (poly) drug abuser for nearly half of my life it’s hard for me to believe I’ve actually gone that long without altering my consciousness. And it hasn’t been too hard either. What is even more remarkable is that I’ve managed to do this while going through one of the most stressful periods of my life so far. All the original triggers that made me go on benzos 8 years ago have been firing full on for the past 2 weeks and remaining sober throughout all this is something that was completely unimaginable for me before.
Another very big change is how I manage my living space. I’ve always been a slob. Ever since a little kid I’ve struggled with keeping clean. It was very much bordering on pathological levels of messiness. I often felt disgusted with myself in that regard, but felt completely helpless to change. Ever since starting with 9-mbc my place is always relatively clean. I don’t clean compulsively. I just keep a presentable level of tidiness, so if anyone happens to drop in unannounced I don’t have any reason to feel embarrassed about the condition of my place.
Also I’ve completely revamped my eating habits, rapidly lost the extra 20kgs I was carrying with me for nearly a decade and so far have managed to keep it off without too much effort.
Another thing that deserves a mention is that I’ve completely given up watching porn. I also did a 2 complete months of no fap challenge. I was very much addicted to watching porn so this is not a small change either.
Maybe it was all placebo. In that case more power to me I guess. That’s at least what I thought at first as well. But somehow it is very hard to believe given my track record with these things. I’ve tried to facilitate these kinds of changes before, but never have I been able to keep with them longer than 10 days. I would just burn out and usually fall even lower when I was to begin with. So this is what I was expecting with this experiment as well. But it never happened. Weeks went by, then one day I ran out of 9-mbc. I was so sure I would fall back into my old patterns. I made a conscious decision to do my best to keep the changes I had been able to make. I didn’t expect to succeed. But somehow all the things had stuck with me and I didn’t have to put any extra effort into remaining where I was. Now it has been nearly 2.5 months since that last dose and I’ve still managed to keep all these things. Every now and then when I have a more stressful day I may let myself go a bit, but it gets very quickly uncomfortable and I bounce right up again. Like I said before, it feels like I have a new baseline now.
There is no way to tell if it was placebo or not, but to me personally feels like 9-mbc fixed some underlying problem for me that was keeping my in this stupor. It’s not that all my mental problems are solved now. I still have some very big issues that need to be tackled, but now that I’m not overburden by this basic behavioral stuff I feel more able to do it than I have ever before.

Great write-up neuralis. Looking forward to trialling 9-me-bc myself sometime soon.

@neuralis, thank you for your detailed feedback! I'm very happy 9-me-bc has helped you in such a remarkably positive way!
You might have provided this info before, and I apologize if that's the case, but please don't mind me asking again:
What dose did you take? How often? The route of administration?
Thank you!

On the average I used 25mg/day, taken first thing in the morning, sublingually. I played around quite a bit with different dosages. But as I said before, I didn’t actually feel anything from it, so it’s impossible to gauge the effects related to dose. I suspect a lower dose around 15-20mg would be similarly effective.
Several people have asked me about my source, so with the risk of being called a shrill, I got it from TLR.
I would also like to share my thoughts on what it has done for me regarding Anhedonia. I believe some people are considering trying it for anhedonia and that was also the reason I decided to try it in the first place. While I’m still very much living in constant anhedonic state, it’s is not the same space I occupied before. The biggest difference is that now my body is able to feel things, it’s only my head that’s not. I’m not sure if it has been an direct effect of 9mebc, but certainly a huge part of it is thanks to the habits it helped me change. If you look all the things I was doing before (alcohol, drugs, excessive masturbation, procrastination, overeating etc) from the angle of their psychological purpose, you can see that all these things served the same purpose – that of keeping me numbed. I believe that eliminating all these habits has allowed the feeling to return to my body and what remains now is a psychological problem rather than a neurochemical. And that problem needs a whole different kind of approach. I’m grateful for that invaluable piece of knowledge and recognize it as a big step towards the life I hope to lead one day.
Take this for what it’s worth.

I actually find its effects very similar to bupropion (Wellbutrin), quite a bit noradrenergic and slightly dopaminergic. Unfortunately for me bupropion wasn't a good match and for the same reasons 9-me-bc isn't either.

updates... why did this fall out of favor, it was quite active thread year ago but it seems as of 2016 the substance was dumped!

I want to try it because my depression is not just bad but extremely disabling.
But I'm very conflicted. People who are very depressed already; if they are unlucky, it may be because they are in pro-dromal parkinson's. Even if they aren't, their dopaminergic neurons may be extra vulnerable. These vulnerabilities could cause them to be made worse by the compound since something was already different about their dopaminergic neuron situation.
Maybe it would be hard to really know the right dose.

Definitely did not fall out of favor with me. It is easily, far and away the most promising substance towards a "cure" for my motivation/focus issues.
Every once in awhile, I see if anyone has done any new studies on it, as I feel that the safety profile in humans is not well established, especially concerning UV/DNA damage.
Also, when I purchased it, it was much cheaper than I can source it from current reputable sources. Considering how easily this substance could be badly produced into a neurotoxin, you wouldn't want to buy from any place with less than the best reputation.

yeh, lack of reliable good quality sources is what stumbles me. i dont care for the high price if the source is quality and reliable. yet, very difficult to be sure with this one

I have bought in bulk for my own use, I have four grams for sale only because I need the money. I have a long experience with 9-me-bc and the quality is good.
$40/gram, this is half price from the cheapest on line vendor. If I get more than one request, I ll ship one gram to each member, also I cannot bulk buy it any longer, its out of stock and the producer asks a large amount for custom synthesis.
Cheap, bulk bought NSI-189, PRL-8-53, Tianeptine sulfate also available.

What's the price of PRL? What's the source, is it legit?

placebo. ok thank you for your time
This is so disrespectfull. I would love to insult you for this ,but you wouldnt understand. Noots are only effective in people who abused drugs or have a real imbalance in their CNS. You will never reach what you are looking for. The main effect you feel from 9-me-BC is the Maoi and this shouldnt be your main goal. Take stims if you want a kick and fuckyourself. We as a Noot community look for a cure ,not hypomania.Compounds like 5-UMP or 9-me-BC work by increasing receptor count ,thus the effects take a long period to show and build up. More receptors wont make you smarter if you are an ignorant and stupid dipshit from birth. You need to read books and expand your limits. No pill will magicly change you for a considerable amount of time if you fail to understand that change takes effort. Noots are only an aid.

I have third party tested myself the PRL-8-53 and appears to be of high purity. Price again, half of online vendors at $15/gram, shipping is included.
I am not sure if there is any 9-me-bc left, sorry, but I mentioned it also in a few PMs and many were interested.

Ok, check to see you got enough 9-me-bc left, sign me on for 3g of PRL, give me the price per gram of NSI, and pm the payment information.
Also send me show the 3rd party results.

Anyone noticed that 9-me-bc does not go very well together with modafinil?
How so?

yeh it seems to work well on coordination hence why it might be beneficial for parkinsons. but im still wondering if it can really fix burned out dopamine system from abuse of coke and other drugs

Just to put my own experiences in: I received the 9-me-bc fine and even tried it about 5 times last week. 3 consecutive days, a day break, and the day after.
Taking it to hopefully: regenerate dopamine neurons from adderall/coke abuse, anhedonia, cognition
Acute effects: stimulation, antidepressant even at a low dose, slight increase in libido similar to adderall, 2/3 of the time i got a slight increase in motivation but nothing crazy. Effects last about a day.
Long-term: very subjective but i noticed I am better at body coordination ever so slightly. I caught myself twirling my pen in between my fingers a lot smoother than I had before. And I had not played with my pen in months. It just randomly happened again. I ride a hoverboard as well and I seem to be able to move a lot faster on it without really trying that much harder.
I do not feel much of a tolerance building but I think there is a slight one building. It is super slight and only noticeable because I keep track of it so carefully otherwise may not even be noticeable.
Just to let anyone who's interested to know. Will update once in a while.
Definitely recommend sticking to the science. They found lasting results at 10 consequtive days, but not 5.
I know from my two 10 day, 50mg runs that the improvements compounded and I was still seeing significant improvements after cessation for at least 2 weeks.

ok but isnt it better to stick to long term proven therapies for this, like deprenyl? it works in similar manner, it helps parkinsons and it is one of the only recommended dopamine normalizers out there

Pretty much everyone drops selegiline though, it's more trouble than it's worth. Tablets are 5mg and most people experiment with it daily, which quickly builds up way too strongly: for neuroprotective purpose 1mg per week would actually be more than enough!
I had my remaining selegiline solely for giving speeches or for job interviews since it tends to make me quite bold/confident, last week I took 2.5mg twice though and I was brainfogged for nearly two weeks.
I'm done with selegiline, threw it all in the bin. Monoamine oxidase inhibitor in general are not something to just take for no good reason, is what I think now.

Since I've finally the time to start my trial, I started consuming the 9-me-bc which I purchased from TLR. I started NSI-189 as well earlier this week, which is quite impressive in the overall happiness front.
I can't really discern any additional effects from 9-me-bc since I added it, though. Taking ~20mg. Then again perhaps it's supposed to be something subtle?
Will update if anything changes.
