Is that combination in the title too much? I am worried about serotonin syndrome type stuff, but at the same time I really enjoy how the 5-HTP makes me feel. I've been taking the kanna and SJW together for awhile, not sure if I ever felt much, but the research is encouraging enough to commit to them for awhile.

I took a break from the two herbs and tried 5-HTP, discovered it made me feel really nice, and now am wondering if I can combine them? Has it been done by any members yet?

Thanks for any input

sam

I'd be more concerned with downregulating serotonin with 5-htp

Should be safe.

Probably not a good idea to mix st john's wort and an ssri though.
