Hello Caruga,

in Germany. The best chlorella with unbroken cell and grown in glass tubes. Very clean!

Thanks, that is chlorella vulgaris though, I'm after chlorella pyrenoidosa.

There is no such chlorella pyrenoidosa. If you understand German read this article: http://www.algomed.d...n/algomed10.pdf

Chlorella pyrenoidosa is only the name the collective name of different chlorella subtypes.

I don't understand german.  And that doesn't seem to be the accepted truth.  I ask a seller "is it vulgaris or pyrenoidosa" and they'll usually give me an answer.  It also would explain why I've reacted positively to pyrenoidosa and not vulgaris, and why it tastes and smells different.  You're the only source that says it's a catch-all term for chlorella in general.
