So I have tried a few things to try and improve focus and concentration and energy levels.
I work in a sedentary job all day and find it more tiring than prior jobs where I had to move around more. I get home and have a period of being fairly useless for a few hours. I have tried a few of the racetams and noopept, choline, l-theanine, ashwangha, rhodiola, jiagulan, tyrosine, salbuthiamine, and a few others.
I found minimal noticable effects on concentration and energy levels. Modafanil helps but doesn't meet the criteria of short acting (ideally 4-5hours). L-theanine helps a little as well but not enough.
If I take modafinil any time after noon, it keeps me awake most of the night and leaves me depleted for work. I would like to maximise study time after work but not end up too stimulated to sleep. (And reserve modafinil for weekends or cases where I am really short on sleep).
Any ideas for this? (Obtainable without scripts)
