Hi Everyone!

I'm a biochemistry student. NOT the man in the picture. He is American chemist James Crafts, that along with Charles Friedel discovered the Friedel–Crafts reactions.

I get really good grades, but I have an issue where after some time studying, I get extremely tired and cannot continue. I have largely solved this problem with 30 ml of MCT oil per day.

Before finding MCT Oil, on a bad day I could study 2 hours. Now on a bad day I can study around 4 hours. My top time is around 6-9 hours right now. This is timed with a stopwatch, exclusively studying, writing reports or doing problems.

My point is not about absolute study time, although it is a good measurement of performance. My problem it with how it feels when the situation occurs when I simply cannot continue studying. You may think that it is normal and happens to everyone, but I think that what happens to me is not normal.

The most important factor that makes me think this is not common is that this did not happen to me before. I had a psychotic episode 4 years ago, and that was when this started to happen. When I’m tired I cannot continue reading or understanding words, and I feel really unmotivated and without energy to do anything. I know what it is to be tired from working as normal, and this is not that.

Another thing that I want to solve is that even when my current stack, there are days where I just crash or days where I continuously get more and more slow, achieving less and less with the same time. My goal is to be most of the day at the top of my game, and not experiencing this weird brain fog. I feel really good right now, but I want to continue improving and learning about what works best for me.

My Current Stack:

800mg Piracetam twice a day

L-Theanine

As needed up to 400mg per day. With Coffee.

MCT Oil

15ml in the morning

15ml in the afternoon

Creatine

6.5g with in the morning

6.5g in the afternoon

Additional

Omega 3

D3-2000

Multivit

Night

1g Glycine

0.5g-1g Melatonin

I run 20 min most days.

I’m also taking 2.5mg of Olanzapine per month for maintenance. It makes me sleep a lot for a week and it only makes studying harder.

I made another post about MCT because I want to find out if it has worked for other people.

Thanks in advance, because I know this community will be helpful in achieving my goals.

I am cycling since several years with Cognitex, but that is more for the aging brain as mine rather than for a young brain as yours. Nevertheless, I wonder if you have a take on it too. You might have already researched on the compounds contained therein:

The combination of so many things, especially including olanzapine, makes it difficult to comment on friedelcrafts' experiences. If I were he I would canvass the lists of medical studies seeking volunteers and contact the researchers to see if any would be interested in following him. I assume he is under at least routine medical supervision.

Why? To what end?
