Hi, I did a 23andme a few weeks ago along with nutrahacker/promethease and it would be an understatement to say I'm a bit overwhelmed by all the information and science terminology.  I have the occasional issues of anxiety, irritability, and ADHD. I've tried different supplements in the past, but from experience and the 23andme I'm a non-responder to a lot of them. One that has worked is L-methionine powder. Now, my 23andme said my methylation was normal for the MTHFR gene (CC/AA), but for some reason methyl supplements help me.

The nutrahacker file showed me supplements I should avoid (http://i.imgur.com/E4wgyBe.png). It seems that sulfates and methyl donors should be avoided. Does that mean I am overmethylated? Or which SNP will tell you that? Is it okay to take supplements such as L-Methionine, SAM-E, Alpha Lipoic Acid, TMG, B12 cyanocobalamin etc, because they seem to work for me sometimes? I have been taking a lot of antioxidants like vitamin C, glutathione, NAC, etc which the nutrahacker suggested.

I am guessing Methionine and SAM-E are methyl donors and NAC is a sulfate, but they seem to help. If its not a good idea, what would be a good substitute to take in its place?  I apologize in advance as I'm still new to all this science and also the nutrahacker is a bit confusing where supplements like curcumin, b12, taurine, etc are listed in both things to avoid, and to take.  Thanks!
