Lots of people taking it report something alike what I am describing.

To me it literally feels like being overly emotional or like being a frail, hyperactive teenager.

This is the only reason I am not taking it anymore.

Vitamin b3 accepts a methyl group and may lower levels of methylation.

It does a thousand other things, too. Do you believe this is the reason for those effects I've described?

saw this online (not sure if true):

Our old friend niacin, also called nicotinic acid, is a close cousin of nicotine. Niacin and nicotine both stimulate the production of the neurotransmitter acetylcholine.

If true, and i expect it is, as it's helpful in Alzheimer's disease, excess ACh is indeed linked to depression and some symptoms of borderline personality.

Now, what doses are you talking about?

I read earlier that too high acetylcholine leads to hyperemotionality, both in women and men. If this is true, it could explain it. I hate being emotional like this, it's like being a feminine teenager with too low androgens.
