Is this stuff the same as CDP-Citicoline? Does it have exactly the same effects/potency etc? If not, what is different?

Thanks

Hi, i think it is strange that Citicoline Sodium and CDP Choline have different CAS numbers and are clearly different chemicals. However, they are both sold as the same thing (Citicoline), can anyone shed some light on what the difference between the two is???

Citicoline Sodium, CAS 33818-15-4
Citicoline (CDP-Choline) CAS 987-78-0

Thanks

CAS 33818-15-4 is the sodium salt of CAS 987-78-0

so they are basically the same thing in different forms. Chemical companies are legally required to distinguish forms accurately, so they may be the same for most intents and purposes but will need different CAS numbers. I am guessing the salt will dissolve in water more easily, but both will have the same effect once they react with stomach acid .

I doubt they are really the same.
If not the same molecule then not the same, but do they both have the same bioavailability ?
