I have been wondering about finding professional who knows about HPA axis causes versus neurotransmitter deficiencies.

I've wakup up early, currently supplementing 500mg taurine + 650mg inositol two hours before bed. I've stabilized at 5 hours sleep, with no trouble going to sleep. That supplementation was great when i started it two weeks ago, but its probably not addressing core issue.

I was re-checked for oxygen levels at night with monitor wrish watch. All good there.

I also had curiosity about cortisol, so I saw an endo. But all she does is check blood cortisol in afternoon, which came out ok. Also thyroid was blood tested and is good. Its a little annoying with all I read about saliva testing. They probably handle only diabetes patients.

When i left that doctor, my systolic was 160, so now for during day i got some hibiscus tea and cooking with garlic, which I wasnt doing before. I also grabbed some grape seed extract and ubiquinol, cant hurt.

I've also been trying a gram or two of glycine just before i hit the pillow. Probably helps a little but doesnt fix any issues. Seems like a tiny bit of magnesium citrate would go well with that.

I did have a few trazandone a few months ago before i knew about all this stuff, but i quit that real quick. I dont take anything prescription because I have no stressors in life, and nothing to be sad about, other than waking up early.

My thinking is the universal remedy is improving diet by eliminating sugar as much as reasonable, along with no caffeine, and I think reducing grain-based foods is a good idea, especially processed grains and flour.

Because I was wondering about cortisol before, I have these but currently dont take: ashwaganha, rhodiola, holy basil, PS.
Stuff I havent tried: 5-htp, kava, or tyrosine during day, or any GABA.

When I look at the brain quiz, serotonin seems to stand out. But I can never be sure if its some HPA issue. I'm otherwize healthy at 155lbs and physically active, so maybe its difficult to find doctor for such a problem?

How long has this been going on?
How do you feel when you wake up? Is your heart rate high?
Do you ever get back to sleep, or stay up for the day?
Do you want to take a nap during the day? And, do you take a nap?
Are you taking other sups for any other reasons? I guess you said you're not.

Definitely add Methylcobalamin, and also B6, and the rest of the B-complex, and Magnesium.
Do you get some sun to your eyes during the day? You could try more bright light during the day, see if it helps.

Hi, thanks for your interest.

Its almost 4 months, but variable condition.
Yes, my heart rate feels high after waking up but then goes down.
I usually do not go back to sleep, and dont nap during day.
I do get sunlight every day, walking. And sometimes bicycling.

I had a blood test a few weeks ago that showed the vitamins at normal levels, but i had gotten sublingual B12 some weeks ago, but only took it for a few days. I've already been taking magnesium, but not a consistent dosage.
The B-complex i'm unsure because of all I read about methylation on here.
I dont take supplements for any other reason.

I Try B-complex for a few days.
Big step in the right direction.
7 hours sleep at least.
Also trying calcium citrate in morning, and magnesium at night.
Will try cycling in inositol some nights to see if there is any difference.

And I also think about minerals.
It might be far-fetched, but mineral deficiency can be possible since farming often is done on depleted soils.
