So I essentially I am trying to find an alternative to the amphetamines I've been taking for quite a long time. I know there already is a ton of information on this, but I am having trouble finding people who are using these with the same kinds of mental conditions as I have.

There's a couple key factors that need to be considered in designing this stack.
1.) I have ADD
2.) I am bipolar
3.) I am on hormone replacement therapy
4.) My father has Parkinson's disease

If you don't immediately see what these imply I'll clarify what these each require.
1.) The stack needs to be considerably strong in the realm of increasing focus/attention.
2.) It needs to regulate my dopamine levels as to not cause an increase in my mood shifts.
3.) It cannot be hard on my liver functions.
4.) It cannot damage my ability to produce dopamine or destroy my dopamine receptors.

Before anyone jumps in and says this I literally am posting this question due to the advice my current psychiatrist has given me. I am looking at, in relative terms, safe alternatives surrounding a racetam or racetam related stack.

Like I said in the beginning this needs to be able to replace the 45mg of amphetamines I take daily.

Here is a list of substances I have found that in some combination or other seem like they may work.
-pramiracetam
-aniracetam

-oxiracetam

-noopept

-phenylpiracetam
-sulbutiamine

-uridine

-CDP choline(citicoline)
-folate

-caffeine

-l-theanine

-ephedrine(I know...)

-modafinil/adrafinil/armodafinil

Unfortunately every one of these seems to have several contradicting, ineffective, or even dangerous attributes to them(especially the ephedrine).

The best way I can describe what I am trying to get out of this is simple yet seemingly impossible to obtain. I am looking for something that drives task oriented brain processes. Essentially what has worked for me to achieve this are very speedy substances. It needs to provide substantial amounts of wakefulness as I have fatigue caused by my bipolar medication and I have an insanely high natural tolerance to stimulants. Those are the absolute necessary requirements. Additional effects I am looking to achieve are improvements in my sociability. A feeling of well being, or more or less comfort in whatever environment or situation I am. An increase to the speed of my thought processes. Little tolerance buildup as this happens quickly with anything that has worked for me in the past.

I know this is not what people are usually looking for. Most descriptions of what people want I have read pertain to memory retention and recall, anxiolytic, increased learning capacity, improved creativity, and that whole hd vision thing I hear people talking about.

Please read this post twice to keep in your considerations both my conditions and what has worked for me so far. Thank you!!!

Since you are bipolar, my first thought is Brexpiprazol (Rexulti).

https://en.wikipedia...i/Brexpiprazole

It's a new atypical antipsychotic, with wildly differing properties than previous ones - it's being considered as a potential new class of drugs: SDAM's - Serotonin Dopamine Activity Modulators.

It was previously considered in the treatment of ADD, and actually showed greater effect than placebo in the phase II trials - it did not, however, in phase III trials, show equal effect to compounds already on the market, hence, further research was scrapped.

It meets almost all of your needs, except with possibly one caveat...

It could, like many other antipsychotics, cause increased Prolactin.

Here's the data-sheet:

https://www.accessda...5422s000lbl.pdf

However, that hasn't been confirmed, and the related drug, Aripiprazole - Abilify, is the only antipsychotic which LOWERS Prolactin! = ) But Rexulti isn't Abilify - it could be Prolactin-increasing. However, as I can tell, it would be one of the less Prolactin-increasing ones.

So, perhaps combined with Pyritinol (increases reaction-time), this could be a viable addition to your regimen?

i have borderline, its symptoms include what might be mistaken for mild bipolar and add (mood disturbances and cognitive deficits).   Youre onto something with the caffeine and theanine.   Other recommendations include (dietary) magnesium, zinc, chromium, and lithium, as well as ginkgo, bacopa, and red ginseng.  You'd be impressed by the results of such a regime.  It can do a lot, even combined with only the laziest and most inconsistent of self-help reading, dietary practice, and physical exercise.

  • Ginkgo regulates prefrontal (+)dopamine and (-)glutamate.
  • Bacopa has profound effects on acetylcholine and serotonin.
  • Red ginseng has a very specific action on the D2 receptor.  As well, all of these promote an adaptogenic status or an increase in metabolism.

I usally go for this setup

Breakfast

600mg red Ginseng extract (liqiuid vials)

2g qualty Sencha (crushed in mortar and pestle)

Lunch

90mg standardized Ginkgo

3g quality Sencha

Dinner

150mg Bacopa (45%)
