I had a premonition I should do something important in the next town over on a certain day, but I was too tired. I planned to do it a few days later. That day I was awakened at 6:15 am by unusual traffic noises. They had closed the freeways. Traffic had spilled out onto the surface streets. They said there were mudslides and flooding on the freeway because of heavy rain. There's a few problems with that hypothesis.
The freeway is located in a flat plane in an urban area. There is not much that mud available to slide onto the highway. There are drainage channels. The rain wasn't any heavier than a hundred others. That freeway has been there my whole life but it was never closed because of flooding or mudslides. They probably let the drainage channels get clogged and no one is holding them accountable. The night before there were some problems with the road on the mountain above me which they said were from heavy rain. There was NO rain that night. The weather changes are real, but often the subsequent problems are caused by human error. Then when I was trying to go to sleep at 7 a.m. several bulldozers came to tear up the five foot strip of dirt surrounding my neighbor's house for no apparent reason for the rest of the day. Whoever lived in that house for twenty years never did anything, but now they are messing with it.
It was all so weird including the premonition that I called a support line. Someone should put a mirror in front of that counselor's face. There were long periods of eerie silence as I spoke. I guess all premonitions are delusions, even ones that come true. She kept asking me if whatever it was bothered me. I asked if bulldozers next to her window would bother her. She said she wouldn't let it. Frosty. I'm not sure why she volunteers there Some do it to get into graduate school.
I tried to drive to the other town today. Even though it was only 3:00 pm the freeway was back to back. I don't know why. I got off it and came to a mall. I got all ready and did everything to prepare but it looked better to abort, so I did. You can't always plan everything. I tried.
I went to a the dessert court in a Japanese Department Store. It is a wonderland. I got some green tea jello and looked at everything. There are some mini-donuts they make in waffle irons, Japanese confections, and mochi. They have coffee jello in star shaped containers.
And then I came to the Apple Store.
