Hello everyone,
I did a long taper off diazpem from August 2016 until February 1, 2017. Despite my initial hopes, it was rocky in the beginning. Work got really tough suddenly about that time, and I tripped up and got some etizolam. Long story short, the withdrawal cognitive impairment (lack of concentration, motivation, problem solving) was severe enough I ended up having to leave my job and start a new one.
I've read through tons of forum posts all over the web, from benzobuddies, to bluelight, to here. Most seem to be either genuinely crazy (benzobuddies) or junkies (bluelight). It's a little in between here, hopefully for the best.
So, I have no real withdrawal symptoms besides impaired concentration, reduced motivation, and some problem solving issues. Here is my problem. As I said, I'm starting a new job. The new job will be a different locale, with a much better quality of life, so I may very well be in better spirits. There is also a gym nearby. Since my ordeal began, even with the initial taper, I haven't been able to workout as I would prefer. I am considering a few options:
- Tough it out, hit the gym every day, and see how it goes
- Get more diazepam, but start at as low of a dose as possible
- Try antidepressants - I have read on this forum that Prozac helps
- Try the myriad other legal options - bocopa and phenibut seem popular
- Other suggestions I've not yet considered
Thanks for your replies everyone!
