Fortunately, our knowledge about it is advancing exponentially, i believe that in the next years or decade more consistent results (other than knowing a rough probability of a person developing some diseases) will appear.

Well, if they were expecting to find genetic links to the vast majority of heart disease, alzheimers, diabetes, and other age-related diseases, they were mistaken from the start. Most of these are self-inflicted chronic conditions - not genetic.

But genetics does have an influence in many of these.
