Semax, a neuropeptide developed from a short fragment of ACTH, ACTH(4-10) http://www.semaxint.com/whatis.htm
ACTH or adrenocorticotropin principal effects are increased production and release of corticosteroids. http://en.wikipedia....Corticosteroids
Semax, like his parent ACTH, has some of the same effects, namely release of cortisol. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cortisol
So, how does semax feels? Remember that day that you have a big exam? Or when you see that girl you have a big crush on? That's exactly how it feels. Like stress. Unlike the situations above, semax is COMPLETELY DEVOID of anxiety.
Excellent nootropic. Two or three drops in each nostril two times daily equals 5ml IM cerebrolysin.

Short-term bursts in cortisol help significantly in memory formation (acute stress), though sustained cortisol does the opposite.

Stress - anxiety = energy. Though I'd prefer to describe it the simpler way than the more complex way. It would be expected to make you feel clear and awake.

cortisol is a neurotoxin. cortisol also increases extracellular glutamate.
I don't know how much cortisol is being released via semax spray, but if it's moa involves increasing levels of cortisol, I'd play it safe and use it sporadically at most.
