So I've been researching about cholinergics for a while but I still haven't been able to figure out what the best source of cholines are for the brain. My goal is to improve brain function by regularly taking cholingergics long-term and possibly restore serotonergic/dopaminergic receptor damage from Accutane. I'm currently not taking any nootropics like Piracetam, but I'm on 30mg Cymbalta and I was on 10mg Lexapro before.
Here's all the list of cholinergics:
- Alpha GPC
- CDP choline
- Phosphatidylcholine
- Phosphatidylserine
- Lecithin
- DMAE
- Centrophenoxine
- Choline Bitartrate
- ALCAR
So which types of choline are the best to take daily to promote neurogenesis? From my limited research, CDP choline seems to be one I should take daily because of studies showing increase in dopamine receptor density. What other cholinergics should one take daily?
