It seems to work with even the homeliest looking chaps , even if proper hygeine is not one of their strong points. [:o]
You must be careful not to completely fall for her though, women aquired through such methods are not what you would call "long term" potential mates.

Seriously! Anyone who says the first category is more important is a traditionalist ninny.

Men should not use female avatars on an internet forum, in my opinion.

I've always thought his avatar is a little strange (given that he IS male). However, I find myself reading his posts thinking of "him" as an attractive female. Which, usually means, I consider them in a more positive light than the typical male internet geek.
It's thought manipulation! [:o]

I'm extremely doubtful that this works consistently for any guy in any area for several reasons.

I can't wait for my next trip over there.

And you can buy them on the internet.

My dad married some Phillipino chick after he divorced my mum. I think he got tired of a woman who could think for herself and who he couldn't control. I am fine with her, but for romance I personally prefer braniacs like my sister and girlfriend.

As long as sister does not = girlfriend [tung]

Incest avoidance is a taboo that comes from evolutionary psychology. Descriminating against brother/sister romance is no different than descriminating against interracial marriage. I think my sister is relatively smart and hot, but I've found better, and she is against incest anyway.

Please tell me that you didn't find that out after propositioning her.

I've heard about this, and now I know the real story behind it. I don't think you can characterize it as "buying them." It's more like meeting them, no different than Match.com. But, I've heard there's a lot of scamming going on, and so you need to make sure you deal with a legit site. It's funny, on my last trip back, I sat next to a wealthy stock broker who was coming back from his 15th trip to Ukraine. He has a business over there now, and a girlfriend that he met online, so he was telling me all the details, and said that there are many good matching sites for Russian/Ukrainian women.
The deal with the women over there is that they greatly outnumber the men (wars, plus men kill themselves via bad habits -- average age for a man is 59 vs. 72 for a woman). Plus, a great percentage of men drink themselves silly. I witnessed this: men would walk around the streets drinking beer bottles starting at noon each day -- beer is as common as soda over there. You just cannot imagine how many men drink, and do it all the time, and everywhere. In large part this is due to the economic stress they're under, and the relatively undesirable living conditions. Plus, a majority of men hit women over there, and it's accepted behavior -- the police look the other way (and likely hit their women, too). And, it's normal for men to be unfaithful, because they outnumber women, and women too often look the other way on this expected behavior.
There are other factors at play, too, but the bottom-line is that due to necessity women are the stronger, better educated, responsible sex in Ukraine, and it's only reasonable that they want to find a non-Russian/Ukraine man to spend their lives with. If I were in their shoes, I'd be looking to get out, too. This doesn't make them bad in any way.
Seriously, before I went to Ukraine, I had only heard the typical Russian Bride spin, but just as most the world thinks immortality is for wackos, the truth behind Russian women is far from the average person's uninformed perception.

No, I've found it out by watching anime that included incest with her.

It remains a useful evolutionary adaptation when those relationships lead to reproduction with the additional associated risks, at least until medical science provides the means for effectively intervening.

This is apparently a list of the top 10 countries where women outnumber men:

But there may not be any need to grab your passport. Often a small town will exist that has a nearby university that offers courses popular amongst females such as nursing and education which will swell the ratio in your favour.

I think we're often attracted to people who look similar to us (to some degree). Probably a bit of the oedipus complex built into that fact (where family members tend to look similar).
As a tall skinny white boy, I'm unfortunate in the fact that I'm attracted to the societal norm.

Yes, perhaps as homosexuality became legal four decades ago, incest, paedophilia, zoophilia, necrophilia etc. may be just that some time in the future (under certain terms?).

I think it will be quite awhile until having sex with corpses is legal/not a social taboo, as I think it probably should be.

Yeah, makes complete sense to me. I think my next vacation will be to Russia. Too bad I can't have the Russian girls come to me instead of having to go to them...I guess I am lazy.

Immortality might only be for wackos right now, only because we can't back it up with our current tech, right? Duke: I was partly inspired to join the The Methuselah Foundation 300 after reading about your generous donation of $2,000. I'll match that in two years; for sure. We've got to get science moving so can live as long and as healthy as possilbe...

There's no way this can be legitimate... can it? I wonder how independently wealthy you need to be to take advantage of something like this. Not all of us have sold several software companies. [lol]
(Maybe I'll finally be able to find that rare girl who's actually 5'11" and thin!)

I am beginning to more and more agree with this sentence. I have/had ( it is yet to be fully decided ) a girlfriend who is extremely beautiful and social and fun, but also very shallow. I believe that if I wanted the normal life of a career, house and family she would be a great companion for me. But the lack of meaningful conversations is in increasing amounts starting to bother me. I just really don't care about things like who one of her girlfriends slept with last night or what they did drunk or that she needs, again, new shows

On the other hand I have yet to meet any women to have a serious conversations with. Not that I would have been looking much, since being in a relationship, but I still have this feeling that they tend to be a rare gem to find.
