Thanks for the link. Nice write-up. I hope it works out better next time.

If I had the means to have something like this done, I would have removed at least 50% of the whole blood without returning any of it back into my body. simply replace it with new fluid. That's pretty much how Quinton did it.

Has anybody tried this yet?   Basically just donating blood plasma frequently (ie once a week) for a prolonged period of time, and measuring markers over time?

I once talked to my doctor about this topic. He told me that it all depends on your blood type and what kind of phenotype. So first you should pass all the necessary tests.
It often happens that a person is not suitable for blood donation in principle. For example, I have a relatively rare group — the fourth positive. However, because I have occasional bouts of anemia, I was forbidden to donate blood.
It is also essential to go to the proper blood collector so as not to injure yourself. Nurses from the clinic where I go completed these courses — https://phlebotomynearyou.com/phlebotomy-classes-online/. And I always feel comfortable when I give blood for tests.

Is OK to give platelets too along with the plasma? Does it have any incidence or trade-off in terms of health/aging?
