Hello Anthony,

I think that your Resveratrol comparison sheet is very well done. Everything I have read says that the amount of Trans- resveratrol is critical, since most of the benefits come from the Trans isomer. So with this in mind would it not be helpful to see price comparisons per/mg based on dollars/mg of Trans-resveratrol ?

Just a suggestion since what I have heard we are really after is the Trans-resveratrol which most sientific studies say is the key molecule...If I am misinformed please correct me so I may choose based on the most important criteria.

Thanks,

Terry

Hi Cheese,

the trans-resveratrol column is in orange below, so you can sort by price and filter out all those that have a "0" (zero) in this column:

Posted Image

This will give you only those products that have "trans-resveratrol" either listed on the label, or in the Certificate Of Analysis (COA).
I hope this helps

thanks
Anthony

Your spreadsheet shows Doctor's Best as having no trans-resveratrol, yet their label shows 100mg:

Change? I've been using Doctor's Best resveratrol for several (~9) months, intermittently. IIRC, it's said 'trans-resveratrol' for as long as I've been using it

ok, I misspoke, I thought it only said resveratrol at the time. (at least I think it said it while gathering the collection of products)

Please, if you all do find mistakes in the price list, please let me know... I will correct them as soon as I can.

I am not infallible so I appreciate the corrections. Also, if you find other brands of rsv, better prices, etc... don't be afraid to post them here, I will add them to the list. I created the price list, but I am not the only person who can add to it.

feel free to provide information to keep it upto date.

thanks

Thanks for hosting the list and keeping it actively updated, Anthony! It's a terrific service, especially, ISTM, as you're in competition with other sources listed.

Liquid mystery, that is: contains 300 mg of "resveratrol extract" per serving- no listing of actual resveratrol, let alone trans-resveratrol, content.

What I'd like to see is a spreadsheet with emodin content.

That's going to be the real differentiator, as far as I'm concerned.

Agree with you tom a!

It is not easy to purification giant knotweed extracts, and requires resveratrol contains emodin less than 2%.

During production activity, purification cost a lot!

So less emodin,higher price!

Hey Anthony, why does the list show Relentless @ 50%?
Per their website:

Polygonum cuspidatum extract: 307 mg * [standardized to 98% purity, providing 300 mg transresveratrol (Glycon)].

RevGenetics pricing change has been done to the price list.

By the way, subscriber monthly orders do not go up in price after the holiday special is over, they maintain the same price for as long as you have the subscription.

We've actually discussed this brand before.
I found it online and was fooled by the 500 mg also.
That's 500 mg total, only 250 of trans-Resveratrol. Thats $1.30 a gram.
RevGenetics R300 are a better deal.
