If you want your product on the list it comes out to be about 73 bucks per gram of resveratrol?

Hmm...

maybe I can add 'Liquids' to the list, and start adding wine products that contain rsv on the label?
Should I start adding a liquids section?

Drink section has been placed below capsules, and the drink has been added.

Anyone want to suggest more drinks for this section?

Genesis drink has been added, but because the supplement section does not even state "Resveratrol" (although the advertising states it) I am giving these guys 0.1 mg per serving to give them the benefit of the doubt.

Added "Liquid Resveratrol Life Tonic"

This one is impressive for a liquid, but it doesn't state "trans or Cis" on the label, so I will assume we will be getting the latter.

Given what we know about the relative stability of cis/trans resveratrol isomers, wouldn't it be better to assume that it's the former? (trans) It would actually be quite difficult to produce a supplement that was pure cis, even if you wanted to.

I don't know, I usually assume the worst if it's not in writing.
That way I am not surprised later on...

Added RGarden brand... "Resveratrol Complex", which of course does not have Resveratrol on the supplement facts section of the label... so I am guesstimating maybe 0.01mg for this one...

If it's not on the label, it likely does not have any res and they want to be in compliance with FDA rules regarding labeling.

Folks, please look for "Resveratrol" or better yet "Trans-resveratrol" on your supplement labels, and the amount per serving... If they don't have this information, they are not bound by the FDA rules to have it at all in the bottle.

And, Grape extract is not the same, it has to state "Resveratrol", the best ones state "Trans-Resveratrol" on the label, and the mg per serving you get.

The BEST form of Resveratrol is when it is in an Isotonic state. This means it is not in a pill or juice form. When the stomach sees it coming it sends it directly to the small intestine where you get a 95% absorption rate in the first 5 to 15 minutes.

Thanks.

I believe it has a total of 12 mg.

If you believe this study: http://dmd.aspetjour...full/32/12/1377

then it may simply not be enough for humans.
This goes back to why large doses are considered.

Any studies to support this assertion?

I am sorry. I can see the molecular weight, but nutragrape doesn't specify amount of resveratrol per serving. there doesn't appear to be enough information to calculate the resveratrol in this product.

Made some changes in the price sheet:

- Changed Vitabase pricing as mentioned. (higher price)
- Changed RevGenetics powder pricing. (lower price)

Cheers
Anthony

Andy,

Thanks for your leadership to champion the distribution of information and quality assurance t-resveratrol supplements! I am happy to see RevGenetics take the lead in 99 % purity price and quality. My next order will be from RevGen. as soon as I have finished my half kilo from VP. Keep up the good work! Hi everyone,

I wanted some input as to whether or not to include particle size, or "micronized or better" section. We have a few companies working on small particle products, and I wanted to gather some info on how to best represent the products in the price watch sheet.

Please post suggestions here, thanks.

This is a very tough thread to moderate. Several warnings have already been issued. If it turns into an open, blatant, advertisement for one company or another then it will be closed.

What do you think about revgenetics 99% trans-resvatrol bulk powder? Seems like a very good deal for 60$ per 100g. Does anyone have any experiences with this company? I'm interested in purity and quality of the product

The price watch list is maintained by Anthony Loera of RevGenetics, BTW. I think RevGenetics has a reliable, continuously tested product line, I trust them, FWIW, and I take RevGenetics X500 capsules.
