I'm still alive
Must have been a miracle
It's been a hell of ride
Destination still unknown
It's a fact of life:
If you make one wrong move with the gun to your head
You better walk the line or you'll be left for dead

I'm a runaway train on a broken track
I'm a ticker on a bomb, that you can't turn back this time
That's right
I got away with it all and I'm still alive
Let the end of the world come tumbling down
I'll be the last man standing on the ground
As long as hot blood rush trough my veins
I'm still alive

Lost in the night
Feeling so invisible
Oh, a dead man walking the wire
High above the devils net
That's made of fire
And it's a long way down from the top of the world
You better look around or you’re gonna get burned

I'm a runaway train on a broken track
I'm a ticker on a bomb, that you can't turn back this time
That's right
I got away with it all and I'm still alive
Let the end of the world come tumbling down
I'll be the last man standing on the ground
And as the dust clears look in my eyes
I'm still alive

Let the end of the world come tumbling down
I'll be the last man standing on the ground

And if my shadow is all that survives
I'm still alive

Please turn your volume up as loud as you can stand it, and press play.

The doctor told me that I had only 6-8 months to live. I had heard that dirge before. Can anyone hear that, the music off in the distance? The trumpets of death wail softly, hauntingly, and seductively like the Sirens of classical mythology who, with their fatal song, lured unfortunate sailors to their shipwrecked doom.

Shannon, Life is a choice of sink or swim, and although I was treading water over the 4th of July, hoping to remain afloat in a turbulent sea until I could reach a safe harbor, I also knew that as a life extensionist if I drowned, so would others.

Eight months have now passed quickly since my original prognosis and I haven’t die as predicted. The cancer is still there and so am I, looking thin and haggard, but still alive and kicking. Because I am a life Extensionist the seed to self-destruct at an appointed time have not been planted in my mind, so I have not cooperated in fulfilling your prophecy or the prophecy of my doctors.

That's the truth. 90% of getting well is believing you will.

Congratulations! And please remember to watch as many funny shows as you can that make you laugh out loud. Also, read uplifting and fun books that make you feel good. Oh, and stay away from negative people.

You can beat this cancer!

It is inspirational indeed that you beat the doctor's deadline, and I've never once thought you'd not live beyond their imposed deadline--in fact I still think it is possible that you will beat the cancer entirely. My efforts to help you set up cryonic preservation is to have a system in place in case something happens, I advocate that for 21 year olds in their prime too ;) I've been excited to see the incredible fight you've mounted, and to see the outcome of the supplement protocol. I'd love to see a video of you on your bike again--your video post here was awesome, and it is a good feeling to have a long time ImmInst member sharing information that will help other ImmInst members. Thank You!

Great!!! Super inspirational!! Never doubted for a moment! F*ck the prognosis. You're not checking out. You're not an epidemiological datum. You're the statistical outlier. You're William O'Rights, Immortalist. Defiant and courageous. Make your own reality. Congrats man!

I'm confident TFI supplemental regimen + chemo will help him live more than what his doctors have predicted (November 1st). I also hope he'll eventually beat the disease.

Dmitri, I would like to thank you for setting this poll up for me.

POSTED UNDER THE THREAT OF CENSORSHIP

I was very close to locking this down due to poor taste, but if TheFirstImmortal requested it, I guess I shouldn't have any complaints. I am moving it to off-topic, though.

Not a problem Shepard (William O'Rights Yawns) we'll move it to the Freedom of Speech Forum whenever you guys get around to fixing that. By the way, just how much more time do you guys need before you get that done?

You know what I figure?
As ornery as you are, you will most definitely beat death.

If only we could figure out how to bottle and sell that attitude of his :~ I'm sure it would have some medicinal value.

Dimitri said TFI requested it and named it. I still don't care. It's awful. I'm sorry. This is just awful. sorry Bill, some things
just aren't funny. This is in bad taste.

This kind of thing is completely positive. It's indicative of Bill#'s irreverent optimism, where others would fear death and tremble at the thought, Bill is refusing to. All the ritual and reverence surrounding death is part of what makes it seem so insurmountable to some. I applaud the man's candour in treating death as just another disease.
