I have read through a great deal of the threads/posts here on multi-vitamins. I do see that AOR Ortho Core and Multi Basics and LEF Mix are recommended the most. But I honestly can't afford that at this time. I am currently taking the Vitamin Shoppe Ultimate Man multivitamin (http://www.vitaminsh....jsp?id=VS-2750). But it does suffer from the usual problems cheap multi-vitamins have. It only has one form of vitamin E, bad forms for some of the minerals and vitamins, some mega dosing. I'm not sure if it's really worth paying $25 for it. But $25 for a three month supply is about my limit for a multi-vitamin. I was thinking I should maybe just find a cheaper multi-vitamin and supplement an E complex and vitamin K2 (MK7) separately since most cheap multi-vitamins don't have those. I am taking magnesium glycinate and zinc picolinate separately already.
Here are some of the multi-vitamins I was considering:
Jarrow Formulas Multi 1-to-3 (http://www.iherb.com...ablets/245?at=0)
Source Naturals Mega-One (http://www.iherb.com...blets/1276?at=0)
Now Foods ADAM (http://www.iherb.com...gels/23364?at=0)
Source Naturals Life Force (http://www.iherb.com...sules/1253?at=0)
I had looked at Nature's Way Alive and New Chapter Every Man's One Daily, but no one here seemed to be really into those for the most part. But those were the ones I found looking through threads that were more in my price range if I were to separately supplement some vitamins. I would really appreciate further advice and other options.
