Tried Sulb a couple of times and felt energetic and slightly euphoric both times. Each time I only took 1x300mg dose.

The day after the second time (not a consecutive day), I felt a bit knackered and strung out.

I agree with the general sentiment that it should only be used very occasionally.

I know this is an old thread but I find it odd that no one mentioned the idea that perhaps those that are not deficient in thiamine would not notice any strong effects from sulbutiamine. Yes, thiamine does not cross the BBB easily, but it can slowly cross with assistance from other agents. I don't know much about the pharmokinetics of sulbutiamine but unless the effects of sulbutiamine extend beyond thiamine activity, I don't think this is a far-fetched idea.

Well, that's kind of what I thought as well. I do notice some of it's purported effects only when I use it sporadically. In fact, today I took 400mgs alongside 750mgs of Aniracetam, 20mgs of Noopept and some good fats. I didn't notice much of the alertness I'd experience in the past when using the same combination.

Subjective effects of vitamin B1 and Sulbutiamine are quite different , and sulbutiamine has all sorts of long-term effects ,like increasing dopamine receptors density, that are unlike thiamine .
