Dear friends,
As some of you may already know, the international Longevity Party is now being created, dedicated to the promotion of life-extension using political tools (not necessarily party tools, but any means of political influence, such as political lobbying groups). By now, branches of the Longevity Party have been initiated in about 18 countries, namely: Russia, the US, Canada, Georgia, Israel, Finland, Italy, Norway, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Mexico, Uganda, South Africa, Korea, Philippines, and Singapore.
There is an emerging Longevity Party group in Ireland (a formal announcement will be forthcoming soon, please stay tuned and/or join the central facebook page below for updates).
But, it appears, there is no Longevity Party or pro-longevity political group in Britain!
You are welcome to start one! The first step can be as easy as creating or joining a Facebook page.
Thank you!

I'm reposting this here, as I accidently put it in the Dutch forum...whoops!
This is amazing and encouraging news, Ilia!
17 countries is a great start!
I personally wouldn't want to be one of the leaders/organisers of a political group but I'd be glad to help in other ways in the background if such a group was to appear in England.

Hi, Droplet.
Following your question, I am happy to report that a facebook group was just started for Longevity Party UK
http://www.facebook....11611755571873/
Also, a facebook group was created for Longevity Party Ireland
http://www.facebook....932118/?fref=ts
As for the purpose, the brief description can be found in the "about" section of each group, especially the central one http://www.facebook....ongevity.party/
More formal manifestos are now being developed.
Thanks and Welcome!

What do the live-longers due to party? Wouldn't it be great to design 'the' Venue/Club. Good air, smart juices, organic wine resveratrol fortified, no-GI foods, subliminal groove sounds and and scents etc. Anyone know of anywhere vaguely appropriate in the UK?
